Young Carers Receive ‘Eggscellent’ Surprise

Leigh Centurions stars played Easter Bunny this year – joining us to surprise young carers with chocolate Easter eggs. The ‘eggscellent’ event at Patrick House on 2 April saw a range of Cadbury’s treats being handed out to selfless local children (among the 175,000 young carers nationally between the ages of five and 18).

“We’d like to thank Leigh Centurions for taking the time out from their League campaign to make Easter extra-special for these inspirational young people whose lives are impacted by caring for a parent, child or relative,” said Pam Gilligan, our Chief Executive.
