Recovery Academy receive ‘Sincere Thank you’ from local Veteran

We are very proud of our Recovery Academy who have recently supported a local Veteran with moving property. A letter of thanks was received by Compassion in Action thanking our Academy for their ‘Awesome’ attitude & enthusiasm and for going above and beyond to ensure his furniture made it up 6 flights of stairs! Well done! Keep it up lads!

Good Morning Pam!

I would like to thank Compassion in Action for the help and support they gave me with my very short notice and stressful move, when strangers and an organisation mobilises like this it is almost impossible to put into words how to get my gratitude across.

The Academy members re-energised my belief in human-nature, their attitude, enthusiasm and blatant refusal to leave me without a couch was awesome. The couch wouldn’t fit in the lift and to then to haul it up 6 flights of stairs, 12 landings, was above and beyond what should be reasonably expected from anyone.

Please could you pass on my most sincere gratitude to the lads on my behalf!
