Free summer activities available during school holidays at Lowton Community Outreach
Local children in Lowton have been enjoying Compassion in Action’s summer story time and crafting sessions – led by our Community Outreach Team at our premises on Oaklands Road.
“We recognise that keeping young people engaged and entertained can be challenging and costly over the school holidays,” said our CEO Pam Gilligan.
“That is why I am so proud of our Outreach Managers, Julie and Jade Drabble, who I would like to sincerely thank for having put so much time and thought into creating free activities that are thoroughly enjoyed by all.”
Children are welcome to attend either our morning story time, afternoon arts and crafts class, or both sessions every Tuesday throughout the summer holidays.
“Parents are also reminded that a friendly welcome awaits you at Lowton Community Outreach, where you are invited to ‘chill and chat’,” added Pam. “You can talk in confidence to our support staff, who are on site Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3.30pm.”
